YOUR impact for women in Ethiopia

The below results are thanks to our incredible supporters and the work of Hamlin Fistula Ethiopia – a healthcare network of six hospitals, Desta Mender (Joy Village) rehabilitation centre and the Hamlin College of Midwives.

Prevention

Over 3,300 babies safely delivered per month by Hamlin midwives and fistula prevented

15 graduates in BSc Midwifery

Project Zero

Project Zero was launched in 2023 by Hamlin Fistula Ethiopia to accelerate the eradication of obstetric fistula across all regions of Ethiopia – step by step, woreda by woreda.

Rehabilitation & Reintegration

Desta Mender is Hamlin's Rehabilitation and Reintegration Centre where where longer-term fistula patients with more severe injuries can continue to heal.
