Your donation this Christmas will save the lives of women and their babies.
Five out of 10 women in remote parts of Ethiopia still don’t have access to a doctor or midwife during pregnancy and birth. They often lose their babies, sustain horrific childbirth injuries and are condemned to a life of pain, shame and isolation.
This is why Konjit became a Hamlin Midwife.
Her skilled midwifery care means the difference between life and death for women and their babies and prevents countless childbirth injuries like obstetric fistula.
Please give generously today to help train another Hamlin Midwife and give another community life-saving care.
Your Christmas gift will give a woman life-saving care by training another Hamlin Midwife.

Growing up in her rural village in southern Ethiopia, Konjit watched women give birth at home without any medical care. Some bled to death and too many suffered in ways that broke her heart – tragedies a trained midwife could have prevented.
These women are why Konjit became a Hamlin Midwife.
Your generous donation this Christmas will help train and deploy another Hamlin Midwife and give another community the gift of life-saving care.

reduced new cases of obstetric fistula to almost zero.
A Hamlin-supported midwifery clinic is more than just a building – it’s a beacon of hope in rural communities where skilled healthcare has been virtually non-existent.
More than 270 midwives have graduated from the Hamlin College of Midwives, bringing life-saving care to hundreds of remote communities. But the work isn’t finished yet. We need your help to continue preventing debilitating childbirth injuries across Ethiopia. With a charity gift this Christmas, you can help make this a reality.
