YOUR impact for women in Ethiopia

  • Hamlin Fistula Ethiopia’s clinical team performed 783 life-changing fistula repair surgeries at Hamlin’s six fistula hospitals in Addis Ababa, Mekele, Yirgalem, Metu, Harar and Bahir Dar. The fistula closure rate was 94%.
  • At Desta Mender rehabilitation and reintegration centre, 349 women gained essential numeracy and literacy skills and 51 former fistula patients completed the Women's Empowerment Program
