Why Am I Fundraising

28th August is Hamlin’s Raise2Restore Giving Day! All donations are doubled between 8am and 8pm. Hamlin Fistula Ethiopia has a shortage of vehicles, affecting aspects of its operations and we urgently need your support to keep them on the road. Vehicles are the connector between Hamlin Fistula Ethiopia and the women who urgently need their assistance. It costs $9,200 to provide a motorbike to a Hamlin hospital or a Hamlin-supported clinic, providing them a way to access women in remote areas who would otherwise need to walk over 2 hours to the nearest road that a Hamlin vehicle can access. These bikes are critical in helping transport women from Hamlin-supported midwifery clinics to the nearest hospital when they are in need. Every donation, no matter the size, plays a critical role in helping reach our goal. Your generous support is ensuring every woman has access to life-changing treatment. By helping me raise $4600, we're actually raising $9,200 to provide a motorbike!
