Thanks to the generosity of our match donors and supporters across Australia, we raised an incredible $557,727. 

These funds will help Hamlin Fistula Ethiopia build the water system at Hamlin’s Bahir Dar Fistula Hospital, including an underground bore, and support improvements to ageing water infrastructure at 32 Hamlin-supported midwifery clinics across Ethiopia. 

Clean water is essential at every stage of care. It helps make safe surgery and sterilisation possible, supports infection prevention, allows women to wash and recover with dignity, and ensures midwives can provide safe, hygienic maternal healthcare in rural communities.
