To honour the memory of your loved one, you can make a gift that recognises them by etching your loved one's name on a plaque that will be added to our dedicated monument in the grounds of Hamlin's Addis Ababa Fistula Hospital.

We ask for a minimum gift amount of $1,500 to Etch in Memory the name of your loved one on the In Loving Memory monument in the grounds of Hamlin’s Addis Ababa Fistula Hospital. If this amount is beyond your means, why not ask family and friends to contribute towards this lasting memorial through a Tribute page?
Etch in Memory gifts support the holistic work of Hamlin Fistula Ethiopia, providing life-changing fistula repair surgery and rehabilitation to women with devastating childbirth injuries which transform their lives.
The Etch in Memory monument is located near the entrance to Hamlin’s iconic Addis Ababa Fistula Hospital. All visitors to the hospital pass by it when they arrive and it is a lovely space for patients and staff to congregate and connect with one another.
Typically, it takes between three and six months for your Etch in Memory plaque to arrive in Ethiopia and be added to the In Memory monument.
